Hi, I'm trying to convert some subtitles to srt but SubResync is forcing me to type every word without creating spaces. Is there anyway to fix this so I don't have to type out the whole movie? |

no because it's an ocr program, and maybe that's how it sees the letters. you can also try to use Subrip, which could see them differently and moreover allows you to save a Matrix file and if you have to extract more subs from the same dvd it'll already recognose the letters. |

Sometimes there is a solution, please try this: In the "Save as"-window there is a slider "space detecting sensitivity" (bottom right). If you slide it a bit more to the left, the spacing will be better. You might have to experiment a while, though. Adjust this setting until your results are satisfying. In my opinion, it's better to have to many blank spaces. It's easier to correct that afterwards than having to separate many words. Good luck rogard |

and to correct non necessary spaces just use subtitleworkshop :) it does it on auto if you select the option for correcting errors. i still prefer subrip for the matrix thing... good luck :) |
