Use VLC

Or use MPlayer

http://www.mplayerhq.hu/

or cellulo ("vobsub for OSX")

http://www.cellulo.info/overview.php

or use bootcamp to install Windows ..... just kidding ;-)
(You could, though)

I just couldn't resist, awfully sorry:

"I have an apple, what do I do?"

Don't compare it with oranges...LOL

Or eat it, then everything will be in apple-pie order.... :D
(I told you I couldn't help it... %-)

Download Perian.
http://perian.org/

This free plugin will not only give your standard quicktime access to lots of codecs, but will also enable .srt subtitles if they are in the same folder. Good luck!
